Antonio DiMinno is a law student in our Taxation and Tax Dispute Resolution groups. He also assists our team with its frequent seminars and monthly newsletters geared towards accountants and lawyers.
Antonio is a 2019 J.D Candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he is completing course requirements for the Tax Law Curriculum Stream. Antonio is the recipient the Harley D. Hallett Scholarship, a prestigious scholarship among Canadian law schools. His paper, entitled “The Small Business Deduction: A Re-Examination of Its Application to Professional Corporations,” was nominated by Osgoode Tax Professor, Jinyan Li, for the Canadian Tax Foundation Student Paper Competition.
Antonio is a Co-Founder of the Legal Entrepreneurs Organization (LEO). He is also the Founder and Host of the Legal Entrepreneurs Podcast, where he interviews sole-practitioners, businesspeople, and legal academics.
He holds an Honours Bachelors Degree in History and English Literature at the University of Toronto, Trinity College. Antonio received various scholarships and awards for his undergraduate achievements, including the George Gray Falle Scholarship, the Ambassador to Switzerland Prize, and the Provost Scholar Distinction for ranking amongst the top 5% of his graduating class.
